Finally.
I just submitted my JAE results online. And i am glad that the server's up and running. Well it better be. I'll curse and swear. Why can't they just do it in some other ways? Must they do everything e-base? Haven't they considered the problem of system crashing if too many users login online? I seriously hope that the same problem doesn't happen next year or for any other similar events where the internet is required to submit an application.
Where have i been the past few days?
Well, worked on the 2nd of march. Followed by training. ASked fiona, ena, grace about where to go next. They all gave me different answers. Emily told me to consider Poly life because of my points. She said that i could go almost anywhere with my points. Yes, i know. But i don't wana make a decision so soon. If i take up a poly course, i'll be already deciding my future. I'll have to do well for that specific diploma.
Went home, saw some other people online. Talked about my results and where to head to next. YY told me about his life story. Hmm. Inspiring. It really set me thinking.
3rd of march was a day at Ubin. Whoa. Its been some time since i've seen my juniors and friends from MSS. Very glad that every one was doing well. Glad to see the teachers as well (All except one). My role at the field trip on Ubin was an area rover. I was like cycling around the place. Oh ya, the students lunch were our responsibility as well. I had to attach lunch boxes to my bike and bring them over to check points. On our way back to command post, i was involved in a lil accident. =p It rained while we were getting ready to Mainland. Luckily, everything went well as per normal.
Checked into Pasir ris Chalet in the evening. Before checking in, i was home trying to access the JAE webby. It was practically dying out. I was freaking out. It's the 3rd and i've still not sent my application. Oh well. Lucky it was extended to the 7th of march. Went to watch Hitch at TM around 9.55pm. Sneak peeks!
Unfortunately, the whole lot of us woke up late the next morning. Since we've already overstayed, and needed to pay the extra charges, we might as well stay for another night. And so we did. Everyone was like hooked onto Burnout 3. Crashing and Road Rage. Tsk tsk. Violence. Watched another movie on 4th at TM again. This time, it was 'A series of unfortunate events'. *Complain!! Some irresponsible soul in the theatre removed his/her shoes and there was the horrid smell of salted fish. That idiot! I had such a hard time breathing. So were the others.
Oh!! There were some freaky moments as well. It seems to me that there was a group at the chalet, targeting at rooms with only girls inside. Those arses left and apologised when they realised that it was a guy who opened the door. Girls, watch out if you are sleeping over at a chalet.
Anyway, i enjoyed myself very much there. Its nice to escape from home once in a while. Will be looking forward towards another one. =)
Cheers people!
